Hi, I'm Philip Seddon, welcome to my webpage. I have been a V.I.P. franchisee since 2006. The thing I enjoy about owning my own V.I.P. franchise is making the lives of my customers that much easier by giving them time to do the things they prefer to do in life.
Prior to owning my own V.I.P. franchise, I was in manufacturing and my wife was a preschool teacher,
I have been with V.I.P. home cleaning in Annerley since 2006. I am married and have twin boys born in November 2009.
I clean houses in Annerley, Moorooka, Fairfield, Yeronga, Dutton Park, South Brisbane, Woolloongabba, Kangaroo Point, Highgate Hill and Forest Lake. My services for a general home clean is to clean and sanitise bathrooms, toilets, kitchens and laundries. I dust surfaces, cobwebs throughout as well as cleaning light switches and door frames. I vacuum floors and mop all wet surfaces.

When was the last time your oven was cleaned?13-Sep-2011Ovens are something we all use all of the time but it is one of the things that just never get cleaned. Benefits of cleaning your oven often: 1) A clean oven distributes the heat more efficiently. Food will cook more evenly and it will consume less energy. 2) Burnt food and a build up of fats and grime can leave the oven smelling unpleasant. So cleaning often will reduce the smells and appearance of your oven. 3) Grease and fat accumulating in the oven can present a fire hazard. 4) If your oven door is covered in grime you need to open the oven door to see how your food is going. Spring Clean September08-Sep-2011Spring Clean September! Spring cleaning - It is a perfect time to get all of those cleaning jobs done that you may not do on a regular basis. It can sometimes seem to take forever to do and is something most people put off. However I am available to service all of your spring cleaning needs. Some things I can include in a spring clean: In the bedroom: • Dust/vacuum the tops of cupboards • Move the bed and vacuum thoroughly underneath • Clean lamps and light fittings In living areas • Wash the windows • Clean lamps and light fittings • Move furniture that you don’t normally move and vacuum thoroughly In the bathroom Twice a year • Remove the contents of your medicine cabinet, discard out-of-date medicines and prescription drugs and wash the shelves • Remove the contents of the vanity unit, discard old make-up, used razor blades, half-used hair products etc., and clean the unit thoroughly In the kitchen • Wash the grid of the exhaust fan and clean the filter • Clean and disinfect the dishwasher. • Empty out cupboards and drawers; vacuum the drawers and wipe out the cupboards • Thoroughly clean the splashback and wall tiles • Clean and defrost the freezer. • Thoroughly clean the fridge – inside (including shelves and crispers), outside, underneath and at the back. Wipe over the door seals with bicarbonate of soda and vinegar and a few drops of oil of cloves to inhibit mould • Remove the contents of the pantry and wipe over the shelves • Wash all the windows... Before I decided to take the plunge and run my own business I had a number of jobs. I was mainly in sales and manufacturing. However I wanted the freedom and lifestyle that owning my own business brought. My wife was a preschool teacher and she too wanted a change and wanted more with her working life. So we made the call to V.I.P. Home Services and we have never looked back! I am not just a cleaner... I am a business owner and I take pride in what I do. My wife Tabatha no longer works with me as she looks after our twin boys who are now 20 months old. I have 2 dogs - a golden retriever called Zeus and a labrador called Shelby. I also have 2 cats - D'Artagnon a black and white domestic short hair and Zelda a ginger domestic short hair. Summer cleaning12-Nov-2010It is that time of the year when we start to use our air conditioners and fans again. However over the past months they have been collecting dust, bacteria and other particles which you don't want circulating around your room when you turn them on. These particles cause asthma and allergies to flare up. It is important for you and your families health that the filters in your air conditioner are cleaned on a regular basis. Ceiling fans with dirty blades can make the fan wobble and shake. Mould and mildew run rampant in the summer months because of the high humidity we experience here in Brisbane. Mould and mildew usually shows up in the bathroom and can be extremely difficult to remove if left for some time. Mould and mildew can cause many health problems. It is necessary to treat your shower and bathroom for mould (even if you cannot see it) on a regular basis to help keep the problem at bay. It is impossible to remove mould that has ingrounded itself into your grout. I use an industrial mould cleaner which really helps to remove the mould. I personally find many cobwebs in my clients homes (especially in older homes) in summer. So it is a good time to get out the cobwebber and remove these pesky creatures and their webs from your home. Summer is also a great time to do those 6 monthly jobs such as window cleaning, oven cleaning, fridge/freezer cleaning and cleaning out the pantry, especially coming into the festive season. My AnimalsThese are my 4 furry family members. They range in age from 10 years old to 6 months old. I love animals and I love to spend time with my clients animals while I am at their home. Having pets myself I fully understand the issues with the endless amounts of pet hair. I have a turbo head for my vacuum cleaner which not only picks up more dirt from your rugs and carpet but it also removes unwanted pet hair just as easily. |

There is no need to supply any equipment or home cleaning productsThere is no need to supply any cleaning products or equipment when I clean your home in Annerley, Qld as I supply everything (except toilet cleaning brushes do to hygiene reasons). I use a commercial grade vacuum cleaner which has great suction on wooden floors and carpet. Do you have lots of pet hair on your carpets? No problem! I have a turbo head designed to pick up pet hair and deep embedded dirt. The cleaning products I use are of a commercial standard and are safe for the environment. |

Steam Cleaning - AfterThe steam cleaner has done a great job to get it clean in the home of my customer in Annerley! While of course it does not look brand new...this had not been cleaned for over 10 years. How does a steam cleaner work? Dirt and grime stick to all types of surfaces.
